I’m with the Deejay | Jet Setter Love
Vice & Angela are two of the most amazing people I’ve crossed paths with. Their positive energy as individuals is so rare, and together, it is magical. I had the honor of shooting their dream wedding in Boracay Island this past December, which I will be posting in the near future. Before that, we did a series of super dope shoots that gave little glimpses into their life and love.
This first sneak peek is their jet setter series. We all know that Vice & Angela travel the globe together to DJ some of the most amazing events all over the world. If you’ve never heard him live, you need to experience it. Check out his site to see his upcoming schedule!
I think traveling in itself opens your eyes & your heart to new heights. To be able to share all these new experiences with someone is what life is all about. I love that these two individuals get to do that, and share that with the world. If you didn’t know Angela has an amazing lifestyle blog called IM WITH THE DEEJAY. In this blog, she highlights their adventures, as well as the amazing people they come across. It really is a cool positivity blog that you must check out every week!
Stay tuned for more pics from these two! Have a wonderful week! Check out the gallery here. One Love!
LACMA’S - Urban Lights Exhibit

LA has fallen in love with Chris Burden’s Urban Light Sculpture. It’s open to the public, and a photo-friendly zone to all photographers to get their shoot on. Tonight, it was used for an even more memorable moment. A good friend of mine, Vivian, was proposed to by her now fiance, Ryan. He had hit me up recently to capture the moment, and of course I had to be there! It’s awesome when certain things in life can be frozen in time, and proposing to your future wife should be one of them! Great job guys, and you couldn’t have picked a more timeless location to ask your future wife to start that next chapter in your lives. Congrats and stay tuned for pics!
Connecting Your Images: Storytelling

On a wedding day, a million things occur. There are endless memories to capture everywhere. The day is unfolding before my eyes and I’m freezing every moment I can. At the end of the night, if you’re like me, you will have a sea of fun portraits and candids to design an amazing book for your couple.
I love graphic design and everything about composition. When it comes to the weddings albums, it’s about designing a story that flows, and keeps each page exciting. You almost would like to have the mindset of watching a movie where there are several high and low sequences to keep the viewer at the edge of their seats. You can achieve this with design as well.
Something for me that helps make my layouts come to life is that I’m constantly thinking about the album or story as I’m shooting. That way, when I shoot one thing, I can pre-visualize in my head what kind of image would communicate with the other. Our heads are in creative overload already when we shoot, but specifying a storyboard in your head helps me, and it might help you to create a better story and shoot with a purpose. It also makes designing an album much easier! This was a spread from Cathy and Mark’s Album. Hi Cathy!
Justine Miguel: Before the Wedding

Well, I wouldn’t exactly call this a boudoir shoot, but it has its similarities for sure. Justine and I were just brainstorming the storyline for her wedding, and we definitely wanted to showcase the sensual side of her personality, but still staying true to her relaxed hawaii lifestyle.

We shot these images at the beach house where Justine had her wedding reception on the North Shore of Oahu. I dig these a lot because it’s really simple and intimate. From the lighting & wardrobe, I feel like it portrays that vibe about Justine that she’s just a another girl from the island.

Stayed tuned for the rest of the images from Chad and Justine’s wedding! Mahalo!
Kelley Gin of Picture Perfect Events

We all have made the mistake of thinking we can do everything on our own without the help of others, and then like a slap in the face, we learn our lesson. We still have that mentality for some reason when it comes to planning big events, especially weddings! Are you crazy people! Haha…Kelley can make planning your wedding like going to the Spa! Well, maybe not as relaxing as hot stone therapy, but there is no doubt that she will take a huge load off your shoulders and minimize hundreds of gray hairs!

If you want attention to detail and the best customer service, please contact Kelley for any special event you are throwing. With all the workload she has, she does make you feel like you are her only client, which I admire very much! I shot these photos at her beautiful studio in Miracle Mile, Los Angeles.
