Happy Bday Wifey!

To the most beautiful girl in my life, and almost 3 years of marriage bliss! So excited for today and the future.
The new JATECSON.COM site!
Oh snaps! I am super stoked to launch the new remixed version of my website that features the other side of my work. Jatecson.com will showcase my journey into portraiture, editorial, advertising, and personal work.
I sat down with Joshua of Zero Style a little while back. Working with him has been an incredible adventure. He has made the experience of branding and design an exciting ride. For years I was always searching for the right people to work with, or attempting to do it myself (bad move ja!). For me it was presenting the work the way I wanted to do it. The viewing experience was huge for me, and I’m glad Zero Style was there to make it all come together.
So what is new to the site?? Lets take a mini tour, shall we?! You can see that the I kept the awesome simplicity as my original site, but added some new features.
* Full screen slide show mode! - Large images! Life is good! You’ll notice that when you rollover the images in gallery mode, you’ll see an icon appear. Click away and check out the images individually. You can navigate with your mouse, trackpad, and LEFT/RIGHT arrow keys.
* Social Networking - On the bottom left corner of the screen is a SHARE button. Click on that and POW! A magical drop down window will appear to share either a gallery or image via Twitter, Facebook, and Delicious. Twitter me!
* Deep Linking - Now you can share galleries, as well as individual images with people. Each gallery and picture has its’ own individual ID and link. Sweet! Copy and paste or use the Share tab.
* CMS - This Content Management System is the backend of my site. Zero-Style created a system for me to now share my images faster and with more efficiency. Although you’ll never see this part of the site, the CMS is huge a factor in all of the moving parts.

Please stay tuned for all the updates to the site! It’s going to be a constant work in progress and updating machine! Thank you also to the people who have supported me along the way and believing in what I do. I have been fortunate to meet and cross paths with amazing groups and individuals, and it’s one of the best perks of the job. Have a great monday and keep inspiring!
I love this girl.

Thank you to all designers & illustrators for creating these!
I am a productive mess, but at least this kind of clutter looks fun & colorful!

In your Face Pacey Witter! A Proposal for my Sister.
My sister is one of my best friends. Growing up, she was ALWAYS there just for about everything. If I was hungry, she’d make me grilled cheese sandwiches. If my brothers were torturing me, she would let me hang out in her room. If I was home alone, she would always take me out because she saw I how bored I was, and I got to even hang out with all her high school homies like a cool kid! We’re all grown up now, and this weekend I got to witness one of the most beautiful things in her life thanks to our future bro, Lester!

Okay, so the whole significance to this amazing graffiti piece is one, my sister is a crazy artist, and second, Dawson’s Creek. My sister was obsessed with the show like the Mickey Mouse Club. Like every other girl, she was always drawn like a magnet to the character of Joshua Jackson, also knows as Pacey Witter! I believe my sister identified with Joey (Katie Holmes) because she herself was an artist too. Here is where Lester went all out. There was a famous episode where smooth guy Pacey uses all his dinero to buy Joey her own wall in the middle of town so that she could display her art on it. Here is how it went it down before I start to make stuff up.
My sister loved this episode! What a ham!!! Lester decided to take it to the next level, Pacey style! Not only did he get a graff artist, Voltaire, to create the piece for him, he also got him to do it on the Venice Boardwalk! I thought it was one of the most amazing things ever since we have such a connection to those walls and the Venice area.

My sister thought we were getting lunch at one of the cafe’s on the boardwalk, and that we were meeting up some of their other friends. Lester said they were by the graffiti walls, and my sister was already stoked that she would get to see what the new art was since they put new pieces on the walls all the time. The rest is history!

Congrats guys! Can we do a London Wedding at Hogwartz??
New things to come in 2011! Stay tuned!

To everyone who has supported me, thank you for all the love. I never would have made it this far without all of your faith in me and help throughout the way. This year has been the best ever, and I’m even more stoked to take it to the next level for 2011. Again, thank you for everything!
Dreamcatcher! Our First Official Home!

Me and Bev moved into our new home in Silver Lake in July, and it’s been the most amazing process stripping the house down, and making it our own. Stay tuned for before and after pics! For now, here is how the dining area looks. I love the way the light comes through in our pad!
