Do what you LOVE to do, and do it so well that those who come to see you do it will bring others to watch you do it again and again and again.

“I have found that if you love life, life will love you right back.” - Arthur RubinStein
Happy New Year everyone! I hope everyone had a great holiday. I am so stoked for what this new year will bring all of us. As I reflect upon the many things I am grateful for, I think about the simple everyday things that we can easily take for granted. I dunno, things like…music, smiles, kids, water, parents, straws, books, waking up healthy & alive! Yeah, totally random order, but you know what I mean.
What I hope to inspire in myself, as well as others is to enjoy this short life we have. I simply want to grow up, but always stay young at heart with an OPEN mind. As I interpret this into my photography, I want to celebrate love in the most simplest form. I want to showcase the everyday things that couples really do, which is essentially just hanging out.
Here are a few sneaks from Christa & John’s shoot. You can just tell that they are comfortable and in their element. This is life for them, and I love that. I hope we can all appreciate the little things everyday, just like this.

Looking forward to new adventures in food, travel, and life with my one and only.
You may not be her first, her last, or her only. She loved before she may love again. But if she loves you now, what else matters? She’s not perfect - you aren’t either, and the two of you may never be perfect together but if she can make you laugh, cause you to think twice, and admit to being human and making mistakes, hold onto her and give her the most you can. She may not be thinking about you every second of the day, but she will give you a part of her that she knows you can break - her heart. So don’t hurt her, don’t change her, don’t analyze and don’t expect more than she can give. Smile when she makes you happy, let her know when she makes you mad, and miss her when she’s not there.Bob Marley on “how to love a woman”
