Transformations through the Art of Hair & Makeup

I feel super blessed to work with amazing artists in Los Angeles. A big piece of the puzzle in creating timeless imagery is working with a great team. I’ve always been fascinated with the magic and transformation of a person through hair and makeup styling. The vision & application, and skill to make scenes come alive has always been intriguing to me.
One of my favorite group of creatives I love to work with are the beautiful people at Nine Zero One Salon. Anyone thats been part of any team knows how important it is to build chemistry. When everyone is on the same page, and trust each other’s vision, then the photo shoots just flow. It’s just smooth, and when that happens, the images become art.
I absolutely love all the artists at Nine Zero One. They all get along like a big family, and they are just really great to be around. Everytime I look at their twitter feed, they are doing some amazing creation to one of the Hollywood stars. Again, so honored to know all of them.

So I had done another collaboration with them in the beautiful hills of Malibu to tailor towards their bridal audience. They seriously created the most amazing looks styled with chic designer gowns. I really appreciated the lengths they went to for this shoot. I know that they aspired for future brides to have a visual of what could arise if they wanted to think outside the box. So much goes into every image. Location, lighting, concept, story, equipment, wardrobe, accessories, and of course, hair and makeup people! So much behind the scenes takes place, and thats why its so important to connect with like minded individuals that can execute a vision.

To the Nine Zero One Family, I love you guys! Thank you for taking the time and energy to work together with me on your projects. Looking forward to more!

We’re moving to San Francisco!

Just kidding! Not moving anywhere anytime soon, but I know we’ll be visiting more often. This city is starting to grow on me though. It’s a slightly more relaxed version of New York to me, so I’m all about it. Stay tuned for SF adventures!
