Nike|Undefeated Billboard: Nike Mag

The Undefeated Billboard Project is a collaboration between Nike, Undefeated, and Aaron Rose. Located at the La Brea flagship in Los Angeles, the billboard has showcased some amazing artists that reflect the street culture of sportswear and life. I came out in the middle of the night with tripod tecson to shoot some quick images of the project.

There has been an explosion of positive chaos with the release of the Nike Mag. Please stay tuned for pics from the Back 4 the Future event where the shoe was unveiled for the first time! 1510 pairs were sold to benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. Millions of dollars were raised!
LA born artist, Brent Rollins, collaborated with the billboard project & Nike to create this amazing piece.
Nike Sportswear: The Runway Crew

Nike Sportswear joined into the festivities of the marathon last weekend. Fly. Fearless. Fierce. These were the attitudes behind the chosen lucky ladies of the Runway Crew! The ladies got the all star treatment by Nike and led the way with styled photo shoots by Samantha Jo Alonso to showcase the Sportswear Look book.

My pic on the homepage! I think for as long as I’m shooting, I’ll love to see any piece of my photography functional for advertising or branding.

My images along with awesome fashion photog, Dorothy Hong are featured on the Nike Sportswear site.

Going around San Francisco with the whole crew was an amazing experience. We happened to come across some of the most beautiful weather that week. If you’re from the bay, you all know that its cold and gloomy all year round. We got amazing sunshine and lighting all week through the weekend. So spoiled!
The city has a very unique kind of energy that I love. From the food, art, culture, and character, I know that I will be making more trips to San Fran!

The Runway Crew Entourage was all about girl power that mixed creativity, fashion, and style. Dot led the way with amazing stills, and Samantha Jo Alonso of Fruition LV styled up the girls with her personal touch.

Spreading the word were Miami bloggers and fashionistas, Duda Teixeira and Cristina Mantanilla. Check out their blog, wecanpretend.blogspot.com
Culture Shock LA

Collaborations with Culture Shock Los Angeles are always one of my favorite things to do. The positive energy that they bring to the community and hip hop culture is so inspiring. CSLA is hosting for the very first time the 12th Annual Choreographers Showcase in Long Beach this Saturday. Please come out if you can make it!

We started out shooting in my little neighborhood of Silver Lake. My boy, Earl, is a fellow photographer as well. He’s doing one of his many jumps of the day. Love it. Shout outs to Krystle to the above left for representing LA.

Kameko killin it!

We finished off the shoot in the streets of downtown LA. There is so much character and beauty in Los Angeles that I forget how blessed I really am to have been born and raised here. What has been so important for me in my journey is to surround myself around passionate people. Everyone in CSLA lives this mission and lifestyle. I’m so grateful to be friends with all of you and help spread the word about your talents. Till the next one!

We’re moving to San Francisco!

Just kidding! Not moving anywhere anytime soon, but I know we’ll be visiting more often. This city is starting to grow on me though. It’s a slightly more relaxed version of New York to me, so I’m all about it. Stay tuned for SF adventures!
