Making things happen: Samantha Jo Alonso

I got the chance to meet Sam at the Nike Womens Marathon late last year held in beautiful San Francisco. Nike Sportswear did it right and appointed Sam to be the stylist for the Nike Runway Crew. As soon as I stepped through those doors, she was killing it in full force. I enjoy watching fellow creatives do what they love, and it was just amazing to see her in action, and treat the runway models like blank canvases. Fashion is art for Sam. Fashion is life for her I would imagine, but the thing that blew me away was her passion to empower.

With her passion for fashion, along with her love for running, Sam wanted this journey to mean more. Run With Purpose is one of the mission statements, and it doesn’t get any more inspiring than that. In the end, Sam wants all individuals, especially women to exude strength, confidence, and a desire to look good for victory. More importantly, a superwoman attitude!   That is what Mission I’M Possible is about.

In celebration of the festivities, a Mission I’MPossible T-Shirt was released in Collaboration with notorious athletic brand UNDFTD & NSW at their San Francisco Branch. I came out to show my support of course and bought Ts for me and the wifey!

Here is a pic with Sam & Miami fashionista bloggers, We Can Pretend.

Everyday I feel extremely blessed to be surrounded by positive creatives like Sam. Having the chance to collaborate with her & the amazing team at Fruition is such a fresh process. Stay tuned for future projects!  All work and all play for 2012!
